About Us

SCAVA is a professional educational organization for multi-disciplinary professionals in the field of Vascular Access. SCAVA was formed in June 2006 as a Local South Carolina Chapter of the National Association for Vascular Access. The Founding Member and President of SCAVA is Inna Perfido, RN, BSN from Goose Creek, SC.

Our Vision is to serve as a vehicle for educational outreach to the professional community providing Vascular Access Services; improve patient care and safety; share professional knowledge and skills; promote research and development.

Our Purpose is to create a network of dedicated Vascular Access Professionals in the State of South Carolina to partner together towards innovative advancements in the field of Venous Vascular Access.
